From I 84 East, take Exit 31 (Rt. 229 West Street) to Bristol.
Follow Rt. 72 West to the Museum.

From I 84 West, take Exit 33 to Rt. 72 West (Bristol-Plainville).
At end of expressway, take right on Rt. 72 West. 

From Route 8, take Exit 39 (Rt. 6 East) to Bristol. Follow Rt. 72 East to the Museum. 

From New York City, take 95 North to New Haven, 91 North to Meriden, 691 West to 84 East (Towards Hartford) to exit 31 (Route 229 North - West Street). Left off exit. Follow Route 229 to Route 72 West. To Riverside Avenue to New England Carousel Museum. 

From Litchfield Center, take Route 118 East to Route 8 South to Thomaston. Follow Route 6 East to Route 72 - Four miles to the New England Carousel Museum. 

From Farmington, take Route 10 to Route 6 Scott Swamp Rd. Take right turn onto Route 6 at the Silo Restaurant. Route 6 goes through Bristol to Route 229. Take a left onto Route 229 past Eastern High School to the railroad underpass, stay in far right lane. Take a right hand turn right after the underpass. Follow Route 72 to Riverside Ave. Go past the Hostess Bread store, look for the Stately Floor building on your left. New England Carousel Museum is right across the street in a large long red brick building on a hill. Come up the driveway and park near the gazebo. 

From Stratford, go through Terryville, look for 72 East when you hit the center. Follow 108 to Route 8 North, take exit 39 to Route 6 East. Go through Plymouth, take Route 72 East through downtown Bristol, stay on until turns into Riverside Ave. Go past the Casket place on your right and the Webster Bank Building on Main St. The Museum will be on your left with a gazebo in front of the building. Stately Floors is across the street. 

From New Haven, take 91 North to 691 West to 84 East (Hartford). Take exit 31, turn left onto Route 229 North/West St. Then take Route 72 West in Bristol. About a mile on Route 72 on your right is the Museum, a gazebo is out in front of the building. 

From New London, take 95 South to Route 9 North, follow all the way to New Britain. Route 9 changes into Route 72, follow Route 72 off highway through Forestville to Bristol. Stay on Route 72 West to Riverside Ave. to the New England Carousel Museum, a white gazebo is in front of the building. 

From Massachusetts, take 84 West through Hartford, take exit 33 to Route 72 West (Bristol-Plainville). At the end of the expressway, take a right onto Route 72 West and follow to the New England Carousel Museum. Look for the white gazebo in front of the building.
