Dear Carousel Friend,
What a year it has been…. As we approach our 25th year of existence many are amazed at what has been accomplished. And it could not have been done without the many hands and great support from people like you who have helped this fledgling center of carousel art to develop into being one of the most highly regarded Carousel Museums in the country. Our recent attendance at the National Carousel Conference in New York confirmed the glowing reputation we have earned on a national level. You can take pride in helping us get those accolades.
The New England Carousel Museum is a community treasure providing great educational programming for children and adults, a magnificent setting for receptions, parties and meetings, and wonderful programs, exhibits and events for everyone. Positioned one block from Main Street to the West and Memorial Boulevard to the South, nestled half way between Boston and New York, it is centrally located to add to the draw into the downtown Bristol area we are looking to develop.
Looking to the near future we are intent on making our historic, 1837 restored hosiery factory building climate controlled and as energy efficient as possible while upgrading all areas inside and out. Working with a newly created Major Gift Task Force we plan to raise the funding necessary to add the new air handling system and other improvements to the building.
Our day-to-day operations are made possible with the generous donations such as yours. Thank you so much for your Annual Appeal gifts in the past and those today and in the future. Please take a moment to renew your support with a generous donation to close the year.
