Allowing them a reflective space to create and and host open studio events and workshops for children, teens, and adults'. We are pleased to announce that Evangeline Stott is our 2022 artist in residence.
Collage Art Workshop
Capturing Memories
Have you ever experienced something so wonderful that you wish you could capture the moment in a wordless image, forever preserved as a keepsake? In this workshop you will learn how to select the right materials for your story, play with various paper elements to tell a story, and compose a dynamic piece of collage art. Evangeline will steadily guide you through each phase of the creation process in a fun and heartfelt environment. No experience needed — Bring 3-5 photos you don’t mind cutting up and your curiosity! The museum will provide paper, scissors, glue, and additional paper ephemera for your creation process. Let’s make some magic!

About the
Artist
Evangeline Stott
Evangeline Stott is a visual artist and storyteller with desert roots and an East Coast heart. She uses her art to explore the connective tissue in relationships. Being an "actress turned artist" means that collaboration and connection are built into her operating system, and she uses this tool to better her work and community with each brush stroke. She works with the intention to create heirloom pieces that will mark a moment in time and be cherished for years to come. When not in the studio painting, you can find her sipping an iced chai and binging Gilmore Girls for the 13th time, or on a spontaneous road trip with friends.
