additional Children, $10 per child

Parties of 30 or more people can be accommodated in

the Ballroom and are considered a facility rental.


Crafts activity $5.00 per child

Victorian Tea party $10.00 per child

Carousel or firefighter themed gift bags $8.00 per child

FAQs for Birthday Parties at The Carousel Museum 1. Upon booking, we require a 50% deposit to hold the date. This deposit is non-refundable if the event is canceled by the client. In the event the client needs to reschedule the event, the Event Coordinator will work with the client to find a new date at no additional cost. 2. The remainder of the fee is due the day of the event. 3. Clients must provide a complete Vendor Load In sheet at least 7 days before the event. This will be given to Museum staff and security. Failure to do so may result in your vendors not being allowed in the building. ie. Princesses, Clowns, Balloon artists, and more. 4. Please be aware that guests of the Museum are allowed access to the entire Museum (Birthday Room Included) until 5pm every day regardless of event bookings. Please note that the Birthday Room is only a semi-private space during Museum Public Hours. 5. You are able to provide your own food but please note that you are responsible for the disposal of any food trash. 6. No outside music is permitted. 7. Alcohol is not permitted. 8. Due to the nature of events at the Museum, you will not be granted access to the Birthday Room for setup until your designated set up start time. You have 30 minutes of setup time before the start of the event and 30 minutes of breakdown time directly following the event. 9. All items brought in or rented for your event must be removed from the Museum following your event (during the 30 minutes of allotted breakdown time). Nothing may be left over night for a next day pickup. 10. The Museum is not responsible for personal belongings left in the Museum, which includes but is not limited to equipment, dishware, linens, food, beverages, or personal affects. 11. For the safety of the guests, staff, and the collection - Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult (18 or older) when exploring areas outside of the Birthday Room during the event. This includes during setup and breakdown times. 12. Clients and guests are not allowed to move any collection pieces or open/close any windows or adjust the temperature. Please do not touch exhibit pieces. 13. Indoor Carousel is a children’s carousel, and we are allowing only children to ride at this time. 14. For the protection of your guests and the Museum’s collection the following are prohibited from the building… Glitter, confetti, confetti balloons, bubbles, bubble wands, fog machines, candles, cotton candy machines, popcorn machines, pinatas, no tape on walls/art/décor, no holes are permitted to be made to hang décor, use of propane (sterno is allowed to keep food warm). 15. Please respect the outside areas of the Museum property and parking lots belonging to our neighbors who kindly allow us to use parking for your event. Additional parking is available is located on the far side of the water department building, 145 Riverside Ave. 16. The Museum reserves the right to remove any event guest who does not abide by the outlined Facility Rules and Regulations above or is intoxicated. 17. Museum exhibits and décor change often. The museum reserves the right to alter exhibit and décor items without notice. Please check the holiday decoration schedule before booking during the November/December Holidays.

Carousel crafts will be created by your guests so they will have a treat to bring home. Your party also features unlimited rides on the carousel.  You bring the decorations, gifts, and food. We provide an age-appropriate program and magnificent setting that will delight your guests of all ages.



Days of Knights & Princesses

A medieval party will include a Royal craft and unlimited rides on our indoor carousel. You bring the decorations, gifts, and food. We provide an age-appropriate program and magical setting that will delight guests of all ages.



This party, held near the Museum of Fire History, will include fire hats for the children and a firefighter themed craft. Unlimited rides on the carousel for all guests. You bring the decorations, gifts, and food. We provide an age-appropriate program and an exciting setting that will delight your guests of all ages.



Victorian Tea Party

A tea party will be created for your guests that includes designing floral hats that any Kentucky Derby attendee would be proud to wear! Unlimited rides on the carousel and our fairy-tale setting will set the perfect tone for this party. You bring the cake and we provide, tea, china teacups, and the craft.
