Whether you enjoy working with people, caring for historic objects, or supporting behind-the-scenes operations, there’s a place for you here. Volunteer Opportunities

  • Front Desk Volunteer
    Welcome visitors, assist with admissions, and serve as the friendly first point of contact at the museum.

  • Tour Docent
    Lead guided tours and share the history, artistry, and stories behind our carousel collection.

  • Museum Ambassador
    Represent the museum at events and programs to help engage the public and build community connections.

  • Education Program Volunteer
    Support hands-on learning experiences, school programs, and family activities.

  • Exhibitions & Collections Volunteer
    Assist with exhibition preparation, collections care, documentation, and research projects under staff guidance.

  • Museum Care & Upkeep Volunteer
    Help maintain gallery spaces and support the museum's overall care.

  • Gardening & Maintenance Volunteer
    Assist with outdoor spaces, seasonal upkeep, and light facility maintenance.

  • Restoration Volunteer
    Support the preservation and restoration of the carousel figures (training provided).
