Looking for a volunteer opportunity that will allow you to immerse yourself in art, culture, and fun while supporting a great non-profit institution? Then the New England Carousel Museum might be the place for you.

 

If you have an appreciation for art, history and the preservation of the past, or are simply looking to join a great group of individuals please consider joining our roster of Museum volunteers. As a volunteer, you can set your schedule as you are available and willing to donate your time. Volunteers receive a free one year membership to the Museum, invitations to Museum events and enjoy a sense of community within our organization.

 

The Museum is looking for volunteers for building maintenance and repair. We are looking for people with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting and handyperson abilities, as well as outdoor maintenance to help trim, weed, and tend to our grounds. From re-roofing our gazebo to painting a porch, maintaining our furnace to repairing a broken chair, people with a variety of maintenance skills are needed to help both inside and outside the building.

 

The Museum is always looking for people who own pickup trucks to help us move horses or pick up horses that are being donated to the Museum. We would like to create a “Call When Needed” list of volunteer people we can count on when the time comes.
