Museum of Greek Culture

The Museum of Greek Culture came to the Carousel Museum in 2009. The marble floor and the portico [the front of a Greek temple] are original and were gifted to the museum. There are replicas of Greek statues on display.

There are wall plates that state the history of Ancient Greece in both English and Macedonian. Why Macedonian and not Greek? Some scholars believe that Ancient Macedonian was a dialect of Ancient Greek [Attic Greek]. It slowly went "extinct" due to the wide use of Attic Greek.
