Carousel Museum Collection
In preparation for your year end tax donations, please consider donating to the Carousel Museum's transportation fund! Our permanent collection of carousel animals continues to grow each year. Donations to the collection have come from all over the United States including, Maine, Connecticut, New York, Kansas, Las Vegas, New Jersey, California, and New York. Your support of our transportation fund will help us get these animals to the Museum and into their forever home!

What is
The OWL Society?
The O.W.L. (Older Women Learning)
Society is a group designed to foster community and lifelong learning in women 55+
The OWL Society is a small-group experience hosted at The Carousel Museum, a warm and welcoming space where curiosity, conversation, and connection come naturally.
Each gathering includes a short, practical lesson followed by time to talk, share ideas, and get to know one another. We might play a game, and we will definitely laugh!
Sessions feature expert speakers, delicious snacks, and end with a short wellness activity connected to the day’s topic — such as simple stretches, relaxation techniques, or other gentle practices designed to support everyday wellbeing.
Who is it for?
The OWL Society is designed for women 55 and older who enjoy learning new things, meeting interesting people, and spending time in good company.
No special experience or background is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to try something new. Whether you come to learn a skill, hear a great speaker, or simply enjoy conversation and community, you are welcome here.
Thanks to generous support from the Women & Girls Fund at the Main Street Community Foundation, the first OWL Society cohort will be offered free of charge to a limited group of women from our local communities, making it easier for participants to explore new ideas, build connections, and enjoy lifelong learning together.
