In preparation for your year end tax donations, please consider donating to the Carousel Museum's transportation fund! Our permanent collection of carousel animals continues to grow each year. Donations to the collection have come from all over the United States including, Maine, Connecticut, New York, Kansas, Las Vegas, New Jersey, California, and New York. Your support of our transportation fund will help us get these animals to the Museum and into their forever home!

Children's Birthday Party Celebrations @ The Carousel Museum
Discover the most unique Birthday Party experience in Connecticut! Enjoy and share your child's special moment with friends and family while our professional staff provides two hours of magical birthday fun. Birthday party guests get unlimited rides on our indoor carousel, parents can explore our galleries, and you can add a creative experience in our art studio before singing and celebrating your child's special day.
What We Offer:
2 hours in our Art Studio, perfect for up to 30 guests.
Endless fun with unlimited carousel rides for kids up to 14 years or 100 lbs—note this is a shared experience with museum visitors.
A dedicated staff member to facilitate your celebration.
All the essentials: tables, chairs, and vibrant red table coverings.
Party Themes:
Select from delightful themes: Carousel, Princess & Knight, Firefighter, Victorian Tea, or Fairy Party.
You Bring:
The celebratory essentials: cake, snacks, drinks, paper goods and decorations. Note; glitter is not allowed in the museum.

Basic Party Package:
Base price of $200 for the first 15 kids.
$10 for each additional child.
Adults join in at no extra cost!

Includes up to 15 children.
A flat upcharge of $10 applies to each child attending, up to the included 15.
For more than 15 children, an additional $20 is charged per extra child.

For Larger Gatherings: Parties with 30+ guests can upgrade to our grand Ballroom space.
Enhancements:
Custom Gift Bags: A take-home surprise for $10 each.
Extra Time: Extend the fun in 30-minute blocks at $25 each.
Venue Details: Located on the first floor by the carousel. Ample seating with stools and folding chairs. Kitchenette access with a refrigerator for your convenience.

Carousel crafts will be created by your guests so they will have a treat to bring home. Your party also features unlimited rides on the carousel. You bring the decorations, gifts, and food. We provide an age-appropriate program and magnificent setting that will delight your guests of all ages.

Days of Knights & Princesses
Travel back to medieval times with our Knights & Princesses Adventure. This package features a royal craft activity, evoking the spirit of early carousel days with jousting themes, and unlimited carousel rides. You're invited to bring decorations, gifts, and food, while we ensure a program fit for young royalty and a setting that's nothing short of spellbinding.

Firefighter
This party, held near the Museum of Fire History, will include fire hats for the children and a firefighter themed craft. Unlimited rides on the carousel for all guests. You bring the decorations, gifts, and food. We provide an age-appropriate program and an exciting setting that will delight your guests of all ages.

Multipurpose Room Rental
Discover the perfect blend of flexibility and fun with our Event Room Rental. Ideal for any occasion, from lively parties to showers and productive meetings, this space adapts to your unique needs. The rental includes unlimited carousel rides, adding a touch of enchantment to your event. You have the freedom to transform the room with your own decorations, gifts, and food, making it truly your own. While there's no specific theme or craft included, the charm of the carousel and the versatility of the space provide a captivating backdrop for an unforgettable gathering of any kind.

Victorian Tea Party (Base price $200 + $10 per participant up to 15, then $20 per additional participant)
A tea party will be created for your guests that includes designing floral hats that any Kentucky Derby attendee would be proud to wear! Unlimited rides on the carousel and our fairy-tale setting will set the perfect tone for this party. You bring the cake and we provide, tea, china teacups, and craft.
Fairy Party (Base price $200 + $10 per participant up to 15, then $20 per additional participant)
Create your own magical fairy party. Each guest will create and decorate a magical fairy house fairy wings as festive keepsakes to bring home. Children also receive unlimited rides on our indoor carousel. You bring the cake and we provide crafts and the fun.
