Catherine Veenstra

Front Desk & Operations Manger

Catherine joined the Carousel Museum in 2024 as the Front Desk and Operations Manager. She comes to us with a background in Law and Museum Studies. She holds a certificate in Paralegal Studies from the University of Hartford and a Bachelor of Art from the University of Saint Joseph, focusing on Art History, History and Studio Arts. She has worked and assisted at various museums including the Archival Department at the Wadsworth Atheneum, The Litchfield Historical Society, and the Tapping Reeves Law School. Her passion for the arts and her motto to always keep learning, allows her to create a dynamic museum experience. When Catherine is not at the museum she is working on her latest artworks, learning multiple languages, and going on adventures with her partner and cat.
